FAQ’s About Retreat

Here’s some answers to commonly asked questions about retreat.

Is there adult supervision?
Yes. All students are grouped into “cabin groups” from around 4-9 students and 1-2 adult leaders. These leaders are responsible for their students for the duration of the camp.

I’d really like to come, but I can’t afford it. Can I still come?
We do not want any student to stay home because of finances. We have a scholarship fund for students who need it, so just check the appropriate box when filling out the online registration form. Also, if you can afford retreat and want to donate towards this fund, just mark the appropriate box on the registration form.

Do I need to have certain beliefs to come to retreat?
No. We welcome all international youth of various beliefs and backgrounds, and hope that you have an incredible time at retreat!

Can I come for part of retreat? If so, is the cost any different?
Yes. Students can come late or leave early, but they will need to be responsible for their own transportation to the retreat venue. Registration cost is still the same for partial attendance, because many of our costs (renting the venue, paying the speaker, tshirts, etc) are still the same for partial attendees as for full attendees. If this is a hardship or if the time you will be at retreat is very limited, please contact our staff and we can work out a reasonable arrangement.

What do I need to pack? Where will the buses be?
All of this information will be sent to all registered attendees one week before retreat. Sign up online and then watch your inbox for more information!
